In
Ephesus, God led Paul to found a church in the midst of a city
seized by debauchery and the occult. Yet these fledgling Christians
were able to overcome differences among their members and the
unrelenting temptation from the world around them through their
shared faith in Christ. Edwards invites readers to look to this
early church as an example for Christians today, who face the same
difficulties as the Ephesians but also have the same power to live a
victorious life in Christ.
“We
are presently studying Ephesians and loving it! it has been an
incredible year. I am so thrilled with our unity…it has been
wonderful to keep everyone united on the same track, when we came
from so many different tracks.”
