Dr. Sue Edwards (D.Min., Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary) and Kelley Mathews (Th.M. Dallas Theological Seminary) are a perfect team to collaborate on these works.
Sue's heartbeat is to reinforce ministry partnerships between men and women, which strengthen church and parachurch organizations locally and worldwide. She has 30 years of experience in Christian education and Bible teaching, directing women’s ministry, retreat and conference speaking, training teams and teachers, overseeing staff, and writing curriculum. As former pastor to women at her local church she experienced healthy men and women partnerships on staff, and her passion is to pass on what she has learned.
Kelley has combined women's ministry with media experience for over 10 years. She served for four years as Director of Women's Ministry at her church before "retiring" when her third child was born. She has freelanced as an editor for CBA publishing houses and organizations, and as a writer for newspapers, ministries, and web sites. Her primary ministry today is raising her young children at home, while working in freelancing opportunities as time allows.
Sue is a modern woman while Kelley is postmodern. Sue ministered in a large church (Irving Bible Church); Kelley in a small church (Rowlett Bible Fellowship). Sue is a grandmother and Kelley is a young mom. Although they enjoy different life stages, they share the same passion: to see women won, grown, and unleashed for God's glory. Both live in Dallas, Texas - Sue with her husband, David, and Kelley with her husband, John, and children Nate, Jack, and Maggie.
